Do you confuse the control sample with the standard sample
May 19 , 2023Do you confuse the control sample with the standard sample?
The standard sample and the control sample are used by the spectrometer in the measurement analysis. The full name of the standard sample is the standard sample, and the control sample is called the quality control sample. Generally, those who know the spectrometer will operate the spectrum know the standard sample. But some novice users will be confused, this time please follow the Creator instrument to understand the difference between the control sample and the standard sample.
What is the standard sample?
The standard sample is used to make the working curve of the spectrometer. The working curve is the curve used by the spectrometer to calibrate and compare with the sample being tested. The establishment of the working curve requires a large number of standard samples, which are close to the content range of the measured elements. There are high and low values. The working curve is used to compare with the measured element, and it works like a ruler to get the element content of the sample. (Spectrum manufacturers will add commonly used lines to the spectrometer so that many elements can be detected.) So what is the control sample? The quality control sample is used to check the accuracy of the instrument, and it can also check whether the curve is standard. These two kinds of samples are auxiliary analysis tools. The spectrometer standards and control samples are different for different purposes, but these two types of samples can only be produced by national standards and other institutes with certain qualifications.
